Frogboy, of course i'm sure ... button skinning is enabled
But it's not a new problem with WB4.x, even the first beta one gave the same trouble. As i re-installed 3.51 i'm not sure off which skins are going well, but i'll reinstall 4.20.016 and i tell u (as far as i can remember oxidglass is going right ... and some others of course ...)

So Doublet's push buttons work fine on 4.2 and 3.5?

But Carbonix's don't show up. Do you have any other skins that don't have the push buttons? I'm wondering if it's a .tga issue. That is, that buttons that use .TGA don't work on Win9x.

Yep i think it may be also .tga's issue, as for running skins well (specially with ObjectBar 'Using WB skin' i've to convert all .tga's to .bmp

I've found where comes the problem : .tga files are effectivly not always well rendered with WIN98 2nd, so i use to convert them to .bmp ... BUT, translucent is usual used with .tga's (am i right to say that equivalent code is "perpixel=1" ??) and it's absolutly necessary to hold it off if converting in .bmp's. With this condition i've succeed to make skins which did'nt work (or which had getting troubles with none skinning buttons more exactly ...) now work with WB 4.20.017.
Anyway, i'm still sad to have lost the possibility of having an explorer background , (and still wonder what WB4 brings exactly more than WB 3.51.053 ... but for this point i'm probably missing something 'cause of "english using" in options ...)

You must know by now this isn't an official support channel for Stardock. If you want an answer from Stardock you need to contact them

I know it Fuzzy Logic, but that's not really a question of "support" i think, but something to speak about on a messageboard or on a newsgroup ... (as it may be interinsting for other people)
