OK, what does Photoshop CS really do?

I mean, what does it really do more than the last 2 Photoshops? does anyone have it right now? How is it working for you?
Is it faster, slower, how is it living up to proformance.
I know I need Photoshop but I never found myself getting the latest and greatest of any program (AutoCAD, 3D Studio, whatever)

Its not actually fluff.
Most of it is made for workflow and productivity increases.
And it really does matter when you're doing high volume work.

yep and also where you are doing dynamic production crossing over all the apps that make up the suite. even more so when you have a number of people working on a number of projects all at the sametime...

Thanks for your input guys. I think I will get it.

I'll probably stick with trying to get Photoshop 6 or 7 and wait until I start my own little business then I can see getting Photoshop CS (the whole suite in fact)
Same thing with Flash stuffus.
