My Son Needs Your Prayers NEW UPDATE

He is home!

Sunday, November 6, 2022 by RedneckDude | Discussion: Community

Guys, I need you once again.  I was told today that my youngest son is in ICU and may not see the morning.

It involves a stroke and a bad infection.  He's in Virginia, so I haven't seen him.

I'm told that if they have to intubate him tonight, he probably won't come off it.

Prayers and vibes, thoughts, etc. needed.

His oxygen levels are up and he's not on a vent.  He's feeling better, but still in ICU.

Glad to hear, one foot in front of the other.

Message tonight from my oldest son who isn't sick:

Hey, Dad Galen stopped breathing and they put him on a ventilator, and they put a trach in his neck, I’m on my way to see him now so I’ll keep you updated but I’ll be honest with you dad….. it’s not looking good

Nothing more harrowing than when your child is so seriously ill...thoughts with your son and you and the family Jim during this agonising waiting period...sounds like he's in good hands giving him the best chances to recover...keep positive

All the best wishes for your son and many many prayers from Germany.

Hope you find a way to see him.

Well, my son's mother won't give permission for me to speak to his Doctor, and she is not giving me much information.
My son knows I love him, and he knows the truth about all this. So for my own sanity, and to keep from shooting someone, I guess I'll just distance myself from it.
And, of course, I'll be the bad one . Nothing new there.

I lost my son 4 years ago, so I can imagine what you're going through, Jim. Take care!

Make sure Galen's brother knows the facts of what's happening. That way you won't be considered the bad one.

This is truly heartbreaking. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your son. I don't know you personally and you don't know me. In a time like this, it just doesn't matter. Your creations on this site have meant so much to me over the years I feel like you are an old friend. God bless and keep you and your son.

His brother is the only one keeping me informed, and he knows I'm not the bad guy.
