Dragonfly Cursor

Monday, November 10, 2003 by mossedmoon | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

OK - What happened to the dragonfly cursor theme? I contracted a nasty virus, ended up wiping my hard drive clean and starting all over (ugh!). This was, in my opinion, the most creative animation for a cursor that I've seen and alas, it's no longer in the library. Aside from wondering why, does anyone know where I can get ahold of it?

My recollection is that it was by Lecrayon, a very talented artist IMO. At one point he removed all of his older works here. Do a search for his name in either the WindowBlind or Cursor libraries and click on his name. His email address is there and perhaps he would send you the file for the cursor if he still has it.

One of the rules of this site is that the author should control distribution of his work, so if an author removes something from a library it's rather bad form for someone else to distribute it without the author's permission. Which is why I suggest you contact him directly. He's very helpful. I wish he would upload his older cursors again here also.

Another disgruntled artist? Hmm, it seems to happen a lot here. I wonder why he removed his work? That dragonfly cursor was awesome. I hope that I still have it in my library.

Lecrayon, very nice of you. I was thinking when I started reading that I was going to send him it also. I love that cursor. It is one of the few I have saved on CD so that I will not loose it.
