Thursday, October 30, 2003 by Keith Perry | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Can someone tell me what is used to make this wallpaper? https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=8&SkinID=11821 I have PaintShopPro 6, Is there a plugin for this or another software that can make the wallpaper?

Does anyone know of a good wallpaper maker?

Thanks in advance,
Keith

All it takes is talent. It can be done in PaintShop Pro or Photoshop, without any plugins, but with a lot of skills.

More often than not, a plugin without an artisan will result in disaster.  Good tools do NOT make good craftsmen.....but a poor tool in the hands of a good craftsman can still be used to create good work....

Jairo told one time what's he using.
I don't remember it perfeclty, but he said Freehand + Photoshop (or something)

Freehand is used to draw fruits, to color them. Photoshop - glass effect, background, written name.

Hmmm, ok

I remember another thread about a Bumpkin, oops, Pumpkin and someone mentioning his use of Corel?

But that sounds like a good combo which would work very well.

Styles are really sweet in that you can create effects as you like and save them for single click application by object selection, layer and or project

I love Photoshop and with the addition of a stronger paint engine and SVG it is becoming a complete total package in itself.

ah, not that I have a preference
