Scary. Glad I don't live there. Bit sad for the locals though

Looks like Austrailia is part fire, part flood, part typhoon!

Yellowstone Nat'l Park had famous fires. I worked there. I feel sorry for people & wildlife from fires.

What caused the California wild fire? Who started it?

There are many small fires that made a big one. One, at least, was a lost hunter. But more are known to be arson.

Last I knew, 16 people died. One entire city was destroyed. Area topped 520,000 acres.

Looks funny on the satellite image with the little orange spots. Must been hot dry weather caused the fire. I read the article.

It is made of evil people with matches. It is made of hate and psychopathology.

I just watched the news about the fire in Southern Calif. The news van got too close to the fire. The news people are stupid to get too close. Their fault. Kind of funny when newspeople want really close look. I thought it was funny.

Newspeople always want the juicy news & closest image.

Well, I probably got fired today because of this fire. The company I work for has girls all over the US and we have a thing called Team mail where you can ask questions and post comments. This girl from California was saying how she was safe and sound and how lucky she was and I said, Great. We went back and forth on the subject, about the horses that were lost and she was talking about the firefighters and I was saying what I read about them being totally exhausted. Later we talked about the sun sending immense magnetic clouds towards earth and I commented that it said in the paper that it could hurt the firefighters out there as far as them using the satellite communications for firefighting (quoted from the newspaper word-for-word) and the head honcho got in a tizzy that I would upset this girl. This is after she said she was fine and no where near the fire. Geeze,I wouldn't hurt a fly but sometimes you stick your foot in where it doesn't belong I guess. I suppose I should have thought before I opened my mouth but I was just commenting about the article and the affects on the satellite and auroras and ....nevermind. I babble too much and am going to stick my head in a sand hole somewhere.
