I find it funny that Kona started this thing...and didn't really say a thing....Did you get what you needed, hummmm Kona? I feel kinda sorry for you, that you need this kind of stuff to get off.

Well I started it to be a political discussion not a abortion one. I am staying out of this thread because my views on abortion would get me flamed just like others are getting flamed.

I don't get off on anything around here. In fact, if you notice, I have been very mellow and out of it lately.

I would like to add that I didn't appreciate your comment. Notwithstanding that, you are entitled to your opinion.

I'd like to throw 2 more cents in here if it's ok. I'm seeing a lot of people here that normally seem to enjoy the company of each other and this message board. Before you guys get too hard on each other lets try to remember.
1. This subject has been an extremely passionate subject for a HUGE part of the population for years.
2. There is a very clearly divided line on opinions concerning abortion.
3. Voicing your opinion is one thing, insisting others agree with your opinion is another.
4. It doesn't matter what the law on this subject will ever read, there will forever be opposition to it either way.
5.It's without question one of the most intensly passionate subjects that the human race will ever deal with and may never be resolved because of the nature of the question.

I just don't want to see any of the fine people here on wincustomize who are friendly with each other on a somewhat daily basis go away over something that may never have a definitive solution. I'm sorry if this is out of line, this is a wonderful website that Brad and Company have up here for us and I hate to see it become divided. Again, I apologize if I'm out of line here. Thank you very much.

Kona, you can't post a link to a controversial law that is about as touchy of a subject as abortion and expect it to be about politics.

If you wanted it to be about politics, you should have posted your political view about it.

Eugenics for any reason, no matter how you wrap it up and present it is wrong, period in my opinion.

But after reflection I do not feel that is the perspective where ChasUGC is coming from with their comments.

Maybe as presented it leaves to much to question, but still it is a very vaild position with the structure of things as they have been in the past and the total contradictoin of how thye are presented today in the funding and support our government lends to USAID.

The issue is inter-twined with many other seemingly different topics which all fit into the same matrix. Illegal Immigration, Welfare, Homelessness, Foriegn Aid, National Laws and moral stance compared to National Foreign Aid Policy, Religion's (including Athiestisum and on down the spectrum), claims of National Security and many more that are not listed. But as I said, I do feel it is just as valid an position and one that should be looked at even if in the end it is found to be something that should never be taken up. As long as the question sit's out there un-ansered it breaths life and as long as it hold's life there is a possibility of it being realized.

So bashing it, denying it and or looking the other way do nothing more than to qwell it for the moment while leaving an opening for it to revive itself down the road.

How knows, there might be some very valid and positive things that could be brought out of such consideration if found to be something to never consider again.

Though, Chas did in fact structure the wording in such a way as to indicate a feeling that the Mentall Ill are not fit to be allowed the right to live based on the reasoning that they are an undue burden on society (eugenice is exactly what that position defines as presented and it is also something that was used to clear out all mental institutions and mentall ill people in Germany before WWII started and durring WWII)

anyway...

If we are going to start soemthing along this lines I vote we start with the IRS agents

Thank you KarmaGirl

version 2 of iespell doesn't show up on the right click anymore

I'm going to try and figure out why, it might just be my systems configuration. If it is something common blocking it that others might run into I'll post a thred on what it took to fix it. If it is just how I have my system setup (it is locked down pretty tight) I will leave off on a thred and post if anyone else runs into it.

There was nothing racist in my remarks. Where did you hear a racist statement? Crack Mothers? They can be black or white. Real source of the problem? How about the crack smoking mothers?

1) I can pick a 'biased view' from several hundred paces.
2) Right, black, white or anything you like, however, crack is the drug of the poor and desperate, not the choice trendy yuppies.
3) Real source of the problem? Too many dealers at the bottom of the food chain being funded and protected by 'untouchables' in high places.
4) Perhaps a genuine drive on drugs by the US instead of bombing the crap out of third world countries would be in order.
5) People who resort to drugs are usually doing so out of desperation or lack of hope ..... and the US has the World's largest drug problem.
Analyse that. >

OH WAIT A MINUTE, I GET IT NOW!!!!

WAIT A MINUTE. THIS IS SO FUNNY.

No one is talking about sterilization of a race. That is silly. Think people think. What does it mean when a man or woman are sterile?
It means that they can no longer have babies. I'm talking about tying tubes, or having the Uterus removed. Similar to a male vasectomy. Removing the Uterus may seem a little harsh, but the babies are the ones who really suffer. And, we as society bear the burden. No one is talking Naziism here. I wouldn't know where to begin to become a racist. And, if you truly knew me, you would laugh at the thought. Sheesh, this is funny.

I wouldn't see a problem with having Serial Child Molester's, Rapists etc. penalized with 'Castration'.

When 'Abortion' becomes a method of 'Birth Control'...Then yes, time to find other forms of controlling irresponsible behaviour.

I hear what you're saying

Chas, look into it and you'll find there are great problems with 'having the Uterus removed', far beyond preventing child birth. I'm not aware that it is ever used as birth control.

Okay, I'm not a medical doctor and I never claimed to be. Maybe its having the ovaries removed. I just don't agree with abortion. I agree with a persons right to choice. But, not when it comes to someone elses life. The couples choice ends when they decide to have sex and concieve/produce a baby. After that, there is a third life involved and no one should have the right to end an innocent persons life. After conception, I believe the couples choice ends and it becomes a matter of responsibility. And yes, I do agree with you, Zodiaq, Castration would be a strong deterrent. Rapists are vile animals, and should probably be castrated. But child molesters are perverts. If it is just fondling, while sick, is a different thing.
We claim to be too civilized for Sterilizing Crack Mothers or Castrating Rapists. But, it is this same civilized society that created them. Hmm.

Hum... But what is life?
When I throw away my condom, do I throw away millions of little lives?  Sperms are alive you know...
