More than one ObjectDock

Friday, October 17, 2003 by Flamedog | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Did anyone figure out yet if it's possible to have more than one objectdock bar on the desktop?

If someone did, please let me know how you did it.

Thank you.

I've been wondering the same thing. I just haven't got around to posting the question yet. You beat me to it.

Well, nice to know I'm not the only one trying to have more than one objectdock bar on the desktop.

I think ObjectDock is pretty neat and useful.

Well, I'm still waiting for someone to tell me how to have more than one bar active.

Thank you in advance.

I run ObjectDock on the bottom, Y'z Dock 0.8.3 on the right and Y'z Dock 0.8.2 on the left. That's not the answer you're looking for, but it might be useful anyway. Maybe you could try and install ObjectDock again into another directory and see if that helps...

If there could be more than 1 instance of Object dock opened at the same time, it could be possible (e.g. Excel 2000 and XP is a good example, you can have multiple windows of them). You only would have to assign a "theme" or "profile" to each Object dock opened, so they don't have the same icons.

As i'm no programmer, I'm probably talking out of my head on this...

Ok, thank you for your answers.

Where can I get Y'z Dock? Please link me to the download site.

Thank you.
