What does everyone do for fun....

Besides skinning apps and windowblinds?? What do you do when you are not in front your computer I've read on MX Skins that I.R. Brainiac plays guitar and bass, what about the rest of you? I've saw some of your mugs at Koasati's site http://koasati.net/pix/index.php

I dust off a little of my DJ skills and put together a couple of music CDs or I just go for a walk around town with my girl.
If I stay home. I usually play some videogames or bumb out in front of the TV watching movies.

I like to paint (watercolors), draw, play piano, take walks, travel, photography, cook, bake, tennis, homeschool my children, I love to constantly learn new things, hike at state parks, render with Terragens, web design, visiting friends, read, take long hot baths, and I LOVE listening to all kinds of music!

Xendre,I can relate. I need some sunlight haha.

Bones I'm with you on the cappucino, iced or hot,but I prefer the toffee flavor.

Boxxi it sounds like we have a lot in common.I also build furniture and I built my electric guitar.

Xerraire, maybe we could take a walk so I can get some sunlight and then a hot bath.

Right now, the trees are turning colours in my area. My wife and I go for long walks with Frannie the wonder dog and take in nature's spectacle. The roads are quiet. The sky is clear. The air crisp with the smell of autumn. It is my favorite time of year.

I find messing about in the garden very relaxing. During the summer months i have a large number of hanging baskets and tubs around my house which need plenty of work and watering. I like travelling a lot and usually manage at least three "cheapy" vacations a year. I am off to Tenerife in 2 weeks with my 7 year old daughter with our surf boards and can't wait.

I used to play pool a lot myself and loved to tick off the guys because I could beat 90% of them. Fun stuff. Got tired of kicking everyone's a.. and now just beach it and swim, swim, swim. I love to swim, that and see how long it takes me to screw up my computer by changing things and downloading stuff and just literally screwing it up and then spending hours trying to figure out what the crap I did wrong.

Last 'holiday' I had...where I did absolutely nothing and vegetated was before the first F1 GrandPrix was held in Adelaide [South Australia]..and that was 1985....the GPs became 'the' holiday, [if officiating at a race track for 4 days can be considered a 'holiday']...so next March it'll be 20 years of pseudo relaxation....

I didn't get into it earlier, but I like to play guitar also, but I didn't build it, premade bc rich warlock. I also record music on the computer, making tracks for people to use on the flash presentations or websites. When I'm not in front of the box, I take the wife and go to Fells Point for a nite out to the local clubs, or go out boating on the bay.

I really enjoy reading history and other non fiction.  I just finished a great book called "A Brief History of Nearly Everything". HIghly recommend it.

If you like history I'm in the middle of a great series on the fall of the roman empire by Colleen McCulloch (sp? - it's not here at work with me ) - of 'Thorn Birds' fame etc.

There's 6 books in the set and they're basically dramatised history based on 15-some years of research.

The first one IIRC is called 'The first man in Rome'.

I camp in the summer (Have a stationary trailer in the Berkshires) , and I hibernate in the winter. (I HATE the cold!). Aside from that , I like to draw, read novels and beat my husband at jeopardy on TV. (women are smarter you know) . I like having friends over on a Saturday night for a good game of Trival Pursuit, scrabble, or cribbage.

Drive kids to lessons or activities mostly. Play in my band, rehearse way too little, read mostly science fiction
