Kona: Find a doctor that understands adult ADD. Once you find one your life can be a lot more pleasant. ADD is not something a shrink can cure by talking to you. It has neurobiological causes. There is medication that can help you get a better life.

Maybe use the Quote button? If you mouse over the 'Q' button down at the bottom of each post it will explain it.
