Windows FX, is it any good?

heard mixed things about. Would it cause me problems or is it an awesome app?

wfx is far from being "el crapo"!! it's a good program that adds some eye-candy to the windows gui. it may not be for everyone but it definitely isn't 'el crapo'. and there's lots of good stuff for it. it comes pretty much fully packaged with many shadows and effects straight from the factory.

It basically depends on your display adapter. If you have the right gfx card, then it's awsome. Personnally I can't use it cause it's too slow and jumpy with mine. But I certainly would if I had a good ATI Radeon.
