OK. I am a curious guy. I downloaded it, tried it, and it works. Pretty cool too.
But... what's it good for? I mean, ok, so a cool slpash screen fades in and out. Why?

if you want it to be something useful you can use it in a command line script to give you feedback after a task is completed. looks sexier than a regular message box. (for example when you are downloading a large website with wget).
