ICQ....a radio abbreviation for 'I seek you'...which in turn is a phrase akin to 'calling all cars' [Dick Tracy]....eg, CQDX ....ssek you distance....calling long distance.
Ah....once upon a time there were Hams doing what the net does now....my father is still at it....VK3DEK [for those that know what it all means]....
