fdf file extensions

A lot of the files I've downloaded lately end with .fdf. Can someone tell me what program I need to open these files? Thanks! Karen

Okay, that worked for that one and I'm downloading another one. It's taking longer and is probably zipped.

After shutting down and rebooting, I was able to open that file too. It wasn't zipped either, and when I clicked it, it automatically installed it. Hopefully I can do the same with other skins as well. Thank you very much for your time and help with my problem.
