ObjectDock - Weather docklet

Wednesday, September 24, 2003 by jblogs | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Is it just me, or can anyone else no longer get weather info from ObjectDock's weather docklet? All that is displayed now is a question mark with N/A over it.

It's probably a server connection problem with weather.com. It happens every now and then and short of changing default setups there's not a whole lot you can do other then doing without.

I posted something similar in the Help discussion section. Is there a way to change the source of the weather information? As in a different website?

As mentioned in the newsgroups, the location has changed for finding the weather, but someone needs to edit the dll for the docklet. I'm sure a fix will come in time, but as of now it won't work.

Try this: http://beta.weather.com/

man...that is a flaky site...don't know if I'd want to link anything to it.
