Karmagirl...problem with advertisments again!

Every now and then a popup comes up and says "do you wish to install gator componets from gain INC?"
It has happened twice today to me and a bunch of times before in the last week.
Last time I checked, Goter componets are nothing but spyware and such.
Anybody else have this problem?

Who said I'm causing trouble here? (if that's the implication), If anything, I'm helping some of you out, The rep said once that the admin of this site is probably an amatuer! thus the confusion of the Gator popup, and with Legolas too, I guess i'm only doing it becuase it's a bit of fun AND I do wanna get them to admit it. But i got no probs if the pastings annoy you. Pleugh.

You're not helping anyone out here. You're clearly not particularly informed on the subject (as evidenced by your emails) so your "help" is of not much value. You just look like a bozo with those emails, frankly.
Furthermore, it's not even been established that the pop ups had anything to do with this site at all. Let the site Admins here deal with site matters and their advertising company if it's needed, and it hasn't even been established that any of this is indeed related to this site.
All you're doing is harassing a company for your own "fun" that will probably just ignore you and stop responding as anyone else would have long ago. You would better spend your time educating yourself on how to secure your PC and take responsibility for your own security. But taking responsibility for your own PC would be work and not "fun" right? Well in that case you should know that in that case GAIN/Gator is probably the least "bad" thing you could have on your PC if you don't better secure it.
On the other hand, there are spyware apps that you could get and if improperly removed could disable your internet connection. I guess there's an upside to almost everything.
