skinning tray.

Thursday, September 18, 2003 by thehighlander | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

The new issue of Wincustomize magazine mentions the skinning tray program. Where do you find it? I subscribe, and I have Stardock Central, either I'm missing it, or it doesn't show anywhere. Thanks.

It's listed as WinCustomize Tray and it's on the WinCustomize tab. I looked all over the Object Dekstop tab for it.

Yes it is pretty nice not having to open the Skinbrowser all the time, this is a more compact window. Although doesn't allow commenting. The new additions portion though lists a many more skins. Whereas the skinbrowser typically only shows 15 or so new additions. Now if they could just combine component tray and wincustomize tray so we don't have to have two icons there that would be best

In time the WCBrowser list and the WCTray list will be the same. You could also set the icon to hide when inactive if you wanted so its not always visible. If an update is found, the icon gets shown again.
