object dock - is there a way to add a dial up connection shortcut?

i've tried messing around with this, with no luck. i mean if i right click on the dial up connection, it has one of those addresses {b1020384-23485488} type things, which sorta looks like the argument for the my computer shortcut in object dock.
so does anyone know how to set the short cut up? is it done as an argument? what's the .exe file to use, i tried using explorer.exe with the address as the argument, but it didn't work....(with the :: in front)
i could seriously use some help on that...thanks

yeah tried that...it only works if the shortcut stays on the desktop...and that defeats the purpose of the dock...lol
and yes i tried it by pulling it from the quick launch...it doesn't work that way either...

...... what if you moved the shortcut to another folder, and drag it to the dock from there?

I find a way in windows xp. First, go to the folder that contains de shortcut to de connection, example: desktop. drag to de dock. Them, in dock item properties, cut and paste de full path in the arguments and put explorer.exe in the links line. This works but when yo open the link in the dock, a message appears and i need to said "open". I don't now how to make windows xp not to show that message.

Well I am making a docklet for it, but exams from university are currently a bit more important

Once you have dragged your desktop shortcut to your OD, you can hide the all shortcuts on your Desktop by right click on your Desktop -Arrange Icons By-show Desktop Icons.

Try this........ create a shortcut for your dialup connection on the desktop, then drag that shortcut to the OD bar.
