Creation vs. Evolution

I thought I'd pre-empt this discussion before Kona's comment in the other thread sparked it off there. There is concrete proof that we evolved, but no proof that we were created. What's you're opinion, and why?

The bucket of watch parts is a silly analogy.

Chemicals proteins ,molecules and minerals form different combinations fairly easily under the right conditions.OR if acted upon by an'outside' force.

The possibility that these combinations could take on the attributes of life are not that farfetched.It didnt happen overnight.Dosnt mean God had nothing to do with it.

or the reason we have "Faith" is the proof that we are even here...

dutchy that I think is true too, but w/ that "flaw" that God may have he probably will let us monkeys take it to the last step and then reveal himself to us at the end since he is the Alpha & Omega (He will do the "final" end)

I 'hope'there is a God and that he will have some use for me,but when some lame ass religeous yahoo cant answer something,they dont say"I dont know',they say,"you must have faith".No ,I dont,but for some reason ,they must.

I have a question. If you live a good and righteous life you are supposed to be welcome in heaven with open arms, then what is the need for purgatory? waiting eternally for "God" to decide if you really were behaved?

Someone who blindly accepts every tenant of their religeon is foolish.Seems to have been the cause of most of the worlds problems. Doreen ,I dont expect them to know everything,I expect them to admit it tho,instead of trying to get me to not-think like them.

that's true IR ppl need to not solely rely on what other ppl tell them but maybe rather they need to try to gather info from (3) sources

1. a Bible

2. a semi trustworthy source or Church (though this part can even be dangerous)

3. and most important follow their "own heart" where Gods words are written silently
