How do you do a screenshot???

Okay when I click on the link to screenshots website it brings me right to wincustomize home page..Is it a bad link or am I missing something..My freind told me to do a screen shot you just pushed "print screen" and then saved it as a jpeg..But that dont seem to work..

Shift print screen then paste into a graphics program and save from there.

'Print Screen' copies your current desktop display to the clipboard....open a graphics proggy and 'paste'...then save as 'whatever' you want to call it...and in whichever format...jpeg, BMP, etc....
