Can someone please tell me WTF the Poof is for and how to use it?

1) Something round and soft standing about 18" high with a flat top on which one can rest one's feet.*
2) A British politicaly incorrect term for 'Gay'.
) This description can be used to describe the ideal Aussie girl .... a bit taller and the flat top being used to rest one's tinnie on ....

nice to see the always helpful crowd at WC in action again.
MdPhoenix: the Poof is the animation you see when you delete an item from a dock by dragging it onto the desktop. (the real OS X dock, Y´z Dock or ObjectDock which people prefer here, but obviously know little about).
usually a PNG image with five frames (older OS X versions used PDF).

I'm sure we would have been more inclined to be helpful if the initial question had not contained the well known and very rude acronym 'WTF' in it's body.

Thanks moshi for the clarification. I saw people on a non skinning forum talking about the various docks and the "poof" but I wasn't quite sure what they meant.
