Poll's

Thursday, August 28, 2003 by WOM | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I'll bet a lot of people would like to know the results of the poll's that we have every week, especially the last poll.

Do you mean the exact vote tally?
Just curious exactly what you meant.

That'd be 'Polls', not 'Poll's'....unless the Polls perhaps were the property of Poll.... Spell checker

Ah, every American got Polled in 2000 and they just keep shoving it... wait, Polls! Oh hehe, sorry about that...

Welll...

For me the answer is found in the direction of which the powers that be see this site heading.
I mean it is not an Art site and it is not a Wallpaper depository, it is a Skinning site after all. One does go with the other, but I'll use any number of walls with a Skin and set of Icons and Cursors (of which pretty much stay static on my desktop).

Personally I would either be heavy on moderation and if people pissed a fit large and long enough I would just kill it and allow everyone the ability to remove their work to upload on another site.

Sorry, but it's the truth..
anyway.

I see nothing but loss. Well same as with anything, if you don't like what you see then you do not have to go. I myself go to the Wallpaper section once a week now. It is great practice for how fast I can get my scroll button to roll.

And the walls section has become ours. sigh.

It's all quite simple....raise your filter levels and the ghastly will be 'gone'....but when you do, have a thought for those who are forced to endure the bad with the good...

Hum, the only thought I'll have is they should have voted. So let them suffer. >

My problem with adjusting filter rating is that it applies across all library categories. In an ideal world I'd apply a higher filter setting for wallpapers than I would for the various skin categories (actually I'd set no filter setting for skins)

I have a better answer: Just don't visit the wall section anymore - I don't
