Covid-19

Long term symptoms and effects

Wednesday, January 13, 2021 by cyberslober | Discussion: Community

Hello to the Wincustomize Community;

                                                                as most of you probable know by now, me and a lot of my family were infected by Covid_19 in the early part of December. The virus is seniors worse nightmare, I have never in my life had anything even close to this virus! The virus had no effect on the younger members of my family, it was as if they had no more than a slight cold.

The physical effects of the virus were really terrible for me and some members of my family, but not near as severe to other family members of the same age. The worse was yet to come for me and a lot of my family members as Covid-19 is not only physically, but very mental as well.

Covid_19 has such a wide range of emotions, you can't even began to imagine. Each day, you don't know if you are going to be crying, depressed, giddy or superman. My explanation...... One day Einstein, the next dumber than a rock! Although all of my family members are physically recovering the emotional part is still with us all! I feel that all of the prayers we have had,  have help immensely! I will end with this internet link for those of you that are interested.   https://www.eatthis.com/covid-19-signs/

Thank you all for your support!!!

Mike C. (aka Cyberslober)  PS: this virus has made me re-evaluate my priorities to my family and myself, so I will not be spending as much time on my computer and more time with my family, but will still do my best to create quality dream files from time to time.

Mike, I'm so glad you and the family recovered. Take your time getting back to things: You're absolutely correct, there's nothing more important than family. It should be your top priority.

....and as Doc says....family will always come first.

I'm scheduled for my Covid Vaccine on Wednesday the 20th. My Primary care doctor got vaccinated and she said it should be fine for me to get it done.

Thank you, I appreciate the thoughts!

I feel like we were blessed to have survived it

I definitely would get the vaccination if it was offered to me, one of my daughters had the vaccination and she is fine.

I understand completely, I still have the symptoms even thou my wife and I had it.  I have the aches and pain in joints, feeling depressed and tired and my wife has shortness of breath, depression pains in back.  They say it can last months sure wish it would just go away.

Same here!  Being closer to 68 than I'd care to admit, plus having pre-existing health issues, I'd jump at the chance to be vaccinated to avoid the negative affects of Covid-19.

I already have aching joints and back pain [not to mention depression/anxiety issues at times] so I really would not want Covid to exacerbate those issues.

Anyway, here's to hoping that yours and your wife's symptoms go away quickly.  In fact, here's to everybody who contracted Covid-19 recovering from it sooner rather than later.  And to everyone else, please stay safe and follow the experts advice on social distancing, etc.
