Maybe you do now, but in twenty years you are going to wish you learned more when you start seeing your pay check.

School is the key to every advantage and advancement opportuninty you will get in your life. School is the key preparatory tool for your entire life.

If you hate school, better start preparing to be a bum, because that is where you'll end up without it.

Doctors(mega School) & Ph.D's(mega school) & Lawyers (mega School) = Mega Money$$$$

Teachers (some mega school) = decent money$$$

Construction Workers(little schooling)= Low money$, Hours standing in the hot sun,

Bums(no schooling)= No Money, Welfare, low self respect,

Dropouts = The main Jail population (No money, no freedom), they didn't take school seriously and wanted to hang out with their friends or just play during their developmental years. This is the time when mommy and daddy pays for everything for you, and all you have to do is study for the time when you have to be able to do it all for yourself. (End of the social lecture about the importance of School and Education)

mega school = high school diploma + 4-8 years of college

Actually, I truly wish I could go back to the seventh grade. This is the time when you really start preparing for life, which will actually begin after you leave school. The sort of life determined by how well you did, in school.

I know some people who dropped out of school without any diploma (or however you call it)
And they are quite rich... well, as a dutch speaking says: exeptions make the rule

The economy is just fine, here.  If Oregon has the highest employment rate, why are you having problems?

I have always felt like success is more dependent on your personal drive than on your education.  You don't have to be overly intelligent or educated to succeed in life.  You just have to have a lot of ambition and stick with it.  I wish that I would have stuck in college longer than I did, just because I could have used a bit more knowledge.  I don't work in a profession that I went to school for, so it really doesn't matter.  All I have learned was while I was working my way up in the company.  Just stuck with it and kept learning as I went.

However, to that note, most people who drop out of high school will not have the chance to work their way up since they will never even get a low level "better" job due to not having a high school education.

Enjoy your school while you can. After that lifelong enslavement by labour awaits.

Elementary school was fun.

Hugh school sucks. Alot of peer pressure. Kids are cruel. Since, I left high school, it gotten worse. More strict rules. They banned the smoking lounge after I left.

I dropped out of high-school because I thought it was cool to smoke weed and drink beers with my friends while I cut class. I SEVERELY REGRET MY MISTAKE AND WOULD CUT MY LEFT ARM OFF TO GO BACK IN TIME AND DO IT OVER. Lucky for me I happen to be a [relatively] intelligent person and managed to get a very decent job without any degrees and whatnot. I just got lucky though, I am planning to go back to school to get officially certified in the PC field. Will be looking to get my CCNA/CCIE etc.

I currently hold a job that is my area is considered to be highly paid, yet I enrolled in a CIS program simply because I enjoy school and want to have the degree to back up my experience.....

I guarantee that most of the people over 30 yrs. old wish they had taken school more seriously and wish they could go back and do it again. Well, I guess that squashes most immature attitudes about the importance of school. And I know that most kids under 17 yrs. old wish they didn't have to go to school. All I can say is wait until they are 30 yrs. old.

The question to m0rphium's original statement then becomes,"How old do you think he is"?
I guess 14-16 yrs. old.

School is crap. But it is a good time for drawing... I draw in basically every class (i don't listen much)... and still get straight A[s]... I would have to try to get worse because they make it so easy. It is still a waste of time...

i make fifty bucks an hour when i have work. so let's see...i waste about 10-14 hours a day on school (so let's average and say 12). 12 x 50 = 600 (in one day) = hella lot of money

how 'bout them apples?

haha. Young kids think they know everything. Go ahead and drop out then Young Twig. And then, Mark my words, when you're Thirty you'll hate yourself for being so stupid. If School is that easy for you, its because your administrators know that if they put you into any challenging courses like Calculus, Biology, Physics or Chemistry, you would fail because you don't pay attention. The admins in school don't care what you do with your life. As long as you don't cause trouble and get good grades they could care less whether you excel or not. My ex-gf use to brag about how she never paid attention in school and got straight A's, and a college degree too, but she was an English Major. lol. Me, I'm a scientist. Try something challenging like Physics or Calculus or even Chemistry, and then I'll call you a Genius and bow down to you. Otherwise, you are foolish and just wait until you Thirty, kid. And don't think I'm insulting you by calling you a kid, because you clearly aren't over 16, and I'm over 30. Actually, I feel sorry for you. You have your most precious developmental years, right in your hands, and you are squandering them. It's sad, and the state of our children's minds are sad. I pray that you don't live in the U.S., but you probably do. It's mainly in the U.S. that kids think this way about school. They are spoiled and unappreciative of the opportunities they have because they live in the richest nation in the world. Yet, in the Asian countries, children excel and you see the difference in the jobs they get when they finish school. And, americans want to complain about them, when our children don't pay attention. Don't blame anyone but yourselves. Or ourselves(I'm American). And, it's sad.
