Windows update not working for anybody else?

I get 'Windows Update error'. 'Windows Update has encountered an error and cannot display the requested page'. Been doing this for the past week.

Try the 'round about way and see if it let's you in http://www.microsoft.com/homepage/ms.htm (on left side)

Nope, thats the way I've been doin it; going to the update page and not automatically doing it.
After I 'scan for updates', I get the message.

Wasn't that one of the causes of the "Blaster Worm" virus? I think it wouldn't let you open Microsoft's update window. From what I saw on The Screen Savers(Tech TV).

Now that I think about it, you're right....DJ, make sure you don't have MSBlast.exe running in your taskmanager!!

Hmmm, well I had searched with NAV, Trojan Remover, BPS Spyware Remover and Adaware before asking here (along with the troubleshoot page). Turns out it was Spystopper blocking the page. Never did it up until now .
