internet explorer starting

Hi,
I'm having a problem with internet explorer. It wont start when I use the icon or the address bar on the taskbar. It also will not start when another program opens it. The only way I've been able to use internet explorer is when I open My Computer and type in the web address from there. It might be logon studio because everytime I put on a new skin, logon studio gives me an error. Also this is kind of hit or miss but when i click on a link sometimes it doesn't display the link. It could be attributed to the fact that the link opens a new explorer window. Any help would be appreciated. Running Win2k and internet explorer 6

hey man. i had kind of a similar problem. when i clicked on the address bar and started to type something, the browser would freeze up and i got an error message. i have XP by the way. it only seemed to do this with window blinds though. so maybe it's window blinds that's doing this? i also had internet explorer 6 too just like you, so maybe there's a conflict between the two programs. anyways, i really like using window blinds, so i decided to try another browser instead of internet explorer. there's this new one called "Avant" that I am currently using and it works really well.....it's built off the Internet Explorer browser, so basically you're getting the same thing you have in explorer plus a lot more. I think you'll like it. but don't delete internet explorer either. hopefully this'll help.

even if you don't have window blinds, you should still try the browser to see if it gives you the same problems
