WinCustomize SkinBrowser

Can someone give me some info on the WinCustomize SkinBrowser? How is it better than navigating WinCustomize without it?

Plus, you have priority on the bandwidth, which means when there is a strain on bandwidth and visitors and level 1 citizens get chocked off, you won't.

I subscribed to help out the site. Didn't care about the skins, but I do like this Browser. I hope you will like what subscribing bring you.

Most definitly the browser kicks butts and takes names over using a regular web browser. Just in the message board interface use alone not including the library(s update) interface it is better than a web browser while also helping to fund the continued evolution of the site and day to day mantinence. 
I use StarDockCentral for my systems Product updates and the IRC Chat server access and also use the WinCustomize Browser for the message board and graphics/skins/themes and everything else, it is tops

Funny that, I have a copy of the WinCustomize browser on my computer but I always go through IE because I do not feel comfortable with it.
I might have to give it another try.
Anyway, it is always worth while to support WinCustomize.

I didn't subscribe to get the Skinbrowser or perks as I already had an OD subscription, but did so just to support the site. It took me a while to get used to using the Skinbrowser but at the time it was faster for me than using IE so I did. Now I usually use SDC for browsing the site. Either way, it's a nice option to have.

I ended up purchasing both and have updated ODNet once or twice ( I've and old nick Crow which I can not remember the passwrod for or I would have registered under that) and will Update WinC-Subscription again in 04..

Does the wincustomize skinbrowser work like a regular web broswer? And does it stop pop-ups? I recently purchased a subscription, and didn't even realize I could use the browser!

Skinbrowser is ok for using this site. I wouldn't recommend it for just browsing the net.
If you want to try out a free browser that's uses IE as its engine (so you have the same favorites, for example) but has additional features like tabbed browsing, popup stopper AND ad filtering and more, try MyIE2. I was rather impressed by this browser for an IE shell. http://myie2.com/html_en/home.htm
Now for those who don't want to use an IE based browser, there's mozilla, firebird, Opera with many features also.
BTW, if you're logged in and a subscriber to this site you shouldn't get any popups, ads, stuff like that.

I like Crazzy Browser. I blocks Pop-ups and it is free.

I haven't had a pop-up in 6 months thanks to this site http://www.itc.virginia.edu/desktop/docs/messagepopup/ that I stumbles across. I never use any sort of pop-up stopper just did what it said and presto, no more pop-ups.
