huh?   I use SDC to surf the messageboards.............  I'm really starting to dislike this new feature, things are slow enough for me already, without all these images to load.       It wouldn't be so bad, if people would use small files only..........

If people would only use the feature to add images when necessary it wouldn't be so bad.  But every feels like its a free for all and inserts an image into every reply now.  As mentioned in my original post "Please use the feature sparingly and keep your image sizes down".  Remember, its a message board, not a "Lets see if I can upload a funnier image than the previous person" image repository.

I'm running a 750mhz but have 640mb of ram. I also run at startup at least 40processes and I don't see much of a delay. The only thing that I'm having problems with is Bryce rendering. It seems to be so freakin slow. I stoped it, but if I continue trying to render my latest project. It will take me a week to render fully. Anybody know how to fix that? I'm rendering at size 1280x960. It's to support the bigger resolution people. I have my screen at 1280x1024 so you can see I'm one of the people that have the bigger resolution. But if anybody has any suggestions on how to speed it up without killing the smoothness, I would like to know. Thanks.

When I get the money and things situated, I want to build a seperate computer that is going to do my graphics.

doomgaze, read post #4, and #5, then ask yourself if that image was appropriate? Also consider this, if people continue to mis-use this new feature, such as you did, how long do you think it will remain available?

bro you guys should just mod the size somehow and post next to the browse icon a small warning to maintain alittle... hehe

It's fun but of course ppl will take it to the limit but I hope you guys don't remove it.

Koasati has no choice......... no cable, no DSL available here, and satellite service is too expensive.
