Skin sounds

I like the little sound effects that come with many of the mac-like WB skins (suck as iSkin, OSXP, etc). Does anyone know how I can tell all my other skins to use these sounds, so that I can use any skin I like and still hear the sounds? In other words, there must be certain files present in "sound-aware" skins that I can copy into my other skin direcetories so they will all use the same sounds. These files would include not only the .wav sound files but also something that tells WB when to use them.
I tried going into sounds and audio under the Windows control panel to make Windows associate certain actions with the sounds, but it doesn't work exactly like it does when I'm using the skin, so that's no good

Yeah, that was my original idea, but it doesn't work exactly like it does if you're using WB to manage it. For example, with WB you can cause a sound to occur any time you close a window by clicking the X in the corner. But if you do it through Windows, the closest thing you can get is just if you're closing a program. For example, a sound will fire if you closed MS Word but there would be no sound if you closed your my docs window b/c "my documents" is just a folder, not a program. So in summary, WB provides more options for when to play a sound than Windwos does.

There's no simple way to add sounds to a skin which doesn't have sounds already. The sound is defined in the UIS file for every button on a window individually, so you would need to go through and add the necessary code to each button section by hand. A simpler solution would be to use SkinStudio to do the task, but you would still need to make sure you apply the sound to each button individually.
It's somewhat easier to change the sounds used in a sound-aware skin, as you just need to swap the WAV files for your own and rename them to the same names as the originals.

I'll explainfor ya 
(you'll need skin studio)
First, take the .wav files and put them in the folder of the skin you wish to have sounds.
Then open the skin in skinstudio, navigate through the left panel until you find the titlebar buttons section, or just slick on a button in the preview panel. In the right panel you will see a section called "actions" at the bottom of this section are button in sound and button out sound, just assign the sound to the button and repeat for every button you wish to sound.

Hey i don't have Skin Studio yet, but when i get it, can i take a sound from one skin and use it in another for a different function?
P.S. i tried disabling skin sounds but i cannot, afert i uncheck the box and hit apply settings it checks itself back... lol dam windows... can anyone help with that too???
