Terragen is a great program and is not too hard to use... (Not TOO hard) Plus, its free!
Unless you want to regester, then its $80. Check out http://planetside.co.uk for more info. Oh, and click on my Screen Name and go to Authors skins to see what its capable in the hands of a novice.

- rest of pragrams, what are you talking about? > its because people like you that design programs are that expensive, if evryone just would BUY them, (you know, buying something, in a SHOP,) they would be much cheaper, if I am wrong, then I am seriouse sorry for flaming you. But until then I aint give you program names, cause you wont buy them!

I think she is saying that he friend gave her the program (ie: wasn't using it) but didn't have the manuals.

Unless it is stated in the EULA, there is nothing illegal about giving an unused copy of software away.  (Unless you keep a copy on your machine, of course).

If, of course, the friend still has it on her machine, then that is piracy and is "wrong".  Photoshop is pretty darned expensive, though, so it is hard for me to believe that somebody would just "give" it away.  (Or would buy it and not use it....)

Yeah, thats what I mean, who would justgive away PHOTOSHOP! if it was PSP, well ok, I still couldn't believe it, but that would be more likely. You can only make copy's of the software, for personal use, like a backup, but its not allowed to just 'give' copy's away...

Still, Styl should lighten up as he doesn't know all the facts.

Spend the few dollars it'll cost to pick up a how-to book on PS. It is well worth the money and you'll have learned the basics of PS within a week. Once you have the basics, you can really have fun with the other features PS offers!!

That was how I got Photoshop, from a client who had absolutely no interest in graphics. He knew it was expensive but didnt want it.I could never had afforded it.PSP would have been a stretch for my budget.
