Main Entry: 1this
Pronunciation: '[th]is, [th]&s
Function: pronoun
Inflected Form(s): plural these /'[th]Ez/
Etymology: Middle English, pronoun & adjective, from Old English thes (masculine), this (neuter); akin to Old High German dese this, Old English thæt that
Date: before 12th century
1 a (1) : the person, thing, or idea that is present or near in place, time, or thought or that has just been mentioned (2) : what is stated in the following phrase, clause, or discourse b : this time or place
2 a : the one nearer or more immediately under observation or discussion b : the one more recently referred to

Okay from what we gather...we know 'this' in its most generic of terms but we don't know 'this' in your perhaps "esoteric" implication...or maybe you're just funnin' with us and it's a free-for-all! Is it?

Ut oh...the Eckerlings have visited Merriam-Webster twice in one night.

We hope you are smiling Chas

In answer to my perplexing statement. And yes, ebros, it is meant to be for fun and intellectual entertainment. The question is, what is it that I know, and that you probably don't know? And SuperheroCanadian, if you know everything, then tell me what it is that I know?

We'll take a stab in the dark (ew, not to be confoozed with serial killerz)...

What is good to know...

"Don't eat yellow snow"
"Don't lick the paint off of a 100 year old home"
"Don't pick a wedgy out in public"
"Don't mentalbate"

Oops maybe that was confuscious? No wait...maybe that was the last fortune cookie we read...

Who are we kiddin'? We gotta get to bed...hope everyone is happy-go-lucky cuz the world goes around even if ya ain't so ya mite-azz-well make the bezt of it!

what is good in life -

To crush your enemies, see them driven before you and to hear the lamentation of the women.

Well, I know nothing. I don't even know what 2 plus 2 is. I use to think it was 4. But, I realize that this is not really true either. Because, 2.4 + 2.4 =5(rounded off). And, if the two's were rounded off it would be 2 + 2 and therefore the answer would be 5, not 4. and likewise 2x2=6. I don't even know for sure if I will wake up tommorrow. I don't know the meaning of life. This question is how many of you will admit that you actually know nothing too? It's a really humbling feeling.

Do you know for sure that anyone who dies is really dead?

Do you know for sure that the yellow snow wasn't safe, and someone just spilled pineapple flavoring on it?(No, don't eat it) lol.
