Dell Latitude D600
14.1”TFT, Pm 1.4GHz, 256MB, 30GB HD, swappable DVD-ROM / CD-RW, Ethernet, integrated wireless card, Internal 56k modem, Windows XP Professional, 3 year on-site, global warranty with Complete Care, No floppy, Wt.: Starting at 4.68 lbs.
I already ordered 256MB more memory to help the system run smoother.
Any recommendations on programs? I've heard WindowBlinds takes up resources, but the new version takes up less. I also know StyleXP, and DesktopX are popular programs and Style XP uses very little system resources. I'd like to strike a nice balance between a really cool desktop and not dragging my laptop into bloatware hell. Any suggestions on how this can best be accomplished (which program, settings, anything)? I would like to buy a full version of one of the programs based on any suggestions I can glean from here. Thanks.

Program skins (i.e. WinAmp, Mozilla, etc.)?
Can you load up a theme and still get individual skins for WinAmp and Mozilla for example? Or is it all-in-one? And where's my damn wallpaper!?
