And yet another month goes by....we're rapidly running out of 2019...
Time to show what's on your Desktops in October.
[mine's a bit of a mess....wrestling VM updates to several machines.....and once again...I have to say I really don't like Win 8]...

Don't try to change the main Nexus executable, that will trigger a software protection error, even on the free version of Nexus, IIRC - good for preventing malware from tampering with the exe.
This said, you can change the weather icons (just replace the icons in C:\Users\Public\Documents\WinStep\Weather\Icons1\ with your own customized versions and then change the weather module style) but not the font used for the embedded temperature, which is hard coded.

ah I knew you could change the icons, but did not know about the protection error thank you. yeah i read a bunch on the nexus forums on the hard coded font issue which can be a pain but what can you do.
I think your main Focus should be on the quality of your Graphics and skin. Your biggest problem isn't your choice of Fonts

What I said was Constructive... I have skinned for quite some time now and know the pitfalls. There was no negativity intended. -Absolutely, skin for yourself, that's the best !
Your comment does not come off as constructive, not one little bit, even if that is what you intended.

This is why I don't really comment much online on people work/art/upload/wip etc etc. A lot of time I get misunderstood too..

Well, I don't feel that it is difficult to give constructive criticism in a way that does not sound like you are insulting someone but if you can't then you are doing the right thing.

Here we go again, off topic and I am getting suckered into yet another comment.
Chuck, I like you, I always have but with all due respect, there is a proper and improper way of giving constructive criticism. One proper way would be to send a pm to the person who you feel their graphics need improving and offer suggestions on how to improve the graphics, when someone makes a blanket statement with no explanation or willingness to help, it comes across as being condescending.
That is the way I feel and there are at least 4 people who disagree with me so once again I will just shut up and tolerate being the odd man out.

So should we allow to give you our constructive criticism on your "ZONA" skin?! Or it's only for Master skinners who has that kind of privilege to do so?? I am so confused. 
This thread has stunked ever since Reply #84,even though its comments were deleted................
This started when a member said something about the weather docklet and nothing about my theme which I know is not up most alley, but I am doing this skin for me and if others like it great if not ole well........................
If you are talking about my comments,then there is one misunderstanding. I think I said "wow. That's really a nice skin if the weather icon does match entire suite that would be better." which meant the skin is really nice done if weather icons does match entire suite you did (which beautifully made) it would be better/great,but if not,that's fine/great too. It's your works. Hope I did clarify the comments I made.
