Help
Monday, September 2, 2019 by RedneckDude | Discussion: DeskScapes
Hey guys. I had to do a fresh install of Windows 10. I have installed klite mega.
All dreams are blurry. Any ideas?

Not solved. After a reboot, dreams are blurry again.
All dreams.

Well, oddly, if I download one from the gallery, and start it by clicking Open file in my browser, it's blurry, and changing dreams from that point are all blurry.
If I then disable DS, then renable it, blurriness goes away.

Is it just dreams that are doing that Jim? Just wondering if your graphics driver is up to date after the fresh install.

Most recent gfx driver from Radeon. Just dreams.
I have done the purge deal, it didn't even succeed at uninstalling DS.
Doesn't work.

Did you try changing the settings from media foundation
to one of the Direct Show settings ?

One should not need to do that at all for DS...
Nevermind, adjusted something in Radeon settings, all is well.
What did you adjust, RND....? DS 10.02 was working just fine prior to the reinstall of Win10, and the not needed codecs, yes?

Can you post video of any of this, RND....?

Where do you have DS installed, RND....?

The adjustment in my Radeon settings was a fluke. Can't remember what it was, but the only time the blurriness occurs is when loading a dream from the downloaded file. Applying a dream from withing DS Config isn't an issue.

Dreams in Public Documents, as per usual.

As per usual, it won't do it when I want it to. Next time it does, I will capture video.

Nope. I load a dream, blurry. Disable DS, then open DS again, set a dream, it is fine.
Working on the video, Sean.

Ok, finally got around to the video.
https://www.screencast.com/t/AM9JQkNmrYvY I get this when I click the downloaded file to install/run a dream.
This is how it looks once reapplied. Happens with all dreams.

Dunno why the vid is jumpy, but note the blurriness.
The dreams run smooth on the desktop.

RG, the videos are made by Jing, to share. I can't do anything about the format. Support will see them.
