#38 by Moderator BoXXi - In case anyone is interested........the two old men on the balcony were called Waldorf & Statler.

One of the best ways to kill some time was watching the Muppet show. Almost as good as Loony Tunes and later Animaniacs ( Helloooooo nurse! ) YackO, WackO and Dot, sad when you can relate to cartoons and see the logic in their shtick

But Muppets, they are classic if you happen to like that sort of thing

the muppets were always near the top of my list of passionate hatreds. they were too ugly to be human and too stupid not to be human. grrrrrrr!

Yoda

Yoda is not a muppet because he was not made by Jim Henson's people. George Lucas originally wanted Yoda to be made by Henson but his people didn't have time so he recommended another puppet maker to Lucas.

mm, dunno, but when I was in the service we used to fight over tv in the day room on weekdays off with others over watching soaps or Sesame Street with the sound turned down and the stereos turned up with Billy Thorp, Blue Oyster Cult or something like it cranked up
