How to disable windowblinds on startup
Wednesday, July 24, 2019 by apanoffxi | Discussion: WindowBlinds
So, ive recently been wanting to unload windowblinds but there is no option to make it so it does not actually load on startup. It is not in my startup programs and inside the actual application there is no option to turn it off. I dont want to uninstall it completely, as I do use it from time to time. How exactly do I set it to just not load during boot up?

AzDude is right, but if you're only wanting to use WB occasionally, you might be better off to just apply the Default theme (1st theme) which also unloads WB, and it won't load again at startup until you apply another WB theme. After you use the WB theme for awhile and want to go back to the default, apply the default before you logoff.
I guess it depends on if you want a WB theme most of the time or the default theme most of the time.

I guess I could be a little more specific about the [Control] key method:
At the login screen, after you've entered your password, hold down the [Control] key while you're pressing [Enter]. You only have to hold down the [Control] key for a second or two.

Or you can permanently turn it off by way of disable its service in the system.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues.
If I remember I think if you hold down the Ctrl key while Windows
is staring up WB won't start up .
Try that and report back if that worked .
Thanks .
