hello, i search how to make a new item to object dock which launch the windows start menu

Hi arraciFleahciM,
when I try your script I get an error dialog titled: "Windows Script Host" which contains:
Script: X:\start.vbs
Line: 1
Char: 33
Error: Syntax Error
Code: 800A03EA
Source: Microsoft VBScript compilation error
The offending character is the first ' in the call wscript.createobject('wscript.shell')
Obviously I know not enough about VBS to attack this
What do you reckon?

Try replacing the ' with "
Another alternative is PresStart, a free utility you can link to, that opens the startmenu.
