Please help! Editing Taskbar
Sunday, July 6, 2003 by vandura | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
I try to change the font and font-color for elements within my taskbar with SkinStudio. I hope you know what I mean. Every running program is shown in the taskbar (for example explorer, internet explorer and so on).
I use SkinStudio 4 and if I click XP Taskbar -> Taskbar Button horizontal I can chage the image used as background. All mthis works but if I choose another font or color (normal, pressed...) I can see the changes in the SkinStudio Preview but if I apply my changes it doesn't work.
Hope someone can help me.

Maybe I need to change the font and font-color not only at XP Taskbar-> Taskbar Button horizontal -> font and -> color but somewhere else??
Hope someone gets another idea?!?!

Highlight the graphic you are referring to and then click on the Code button to make sure everything is in good order there
Hope that helps

For example the nVidia_XP skin:
- I open it in SkinStudio 4
- In the explorer-tree I select 'XP Desktop - Taskbar - Taskbar Button - Taskbar Button horizonta'
- In the right window (section) I change the setting for colours (Colour-Normal...Color-Grouped) from Colour0 (black) to Colour4 (white) for every attribute (normal, pressed, disabled, focus...)
- Save changes
- Apply skin
Nothing happens.
But if I change colour0 (black) maybe to red then the changes applies. But then all texst are red. Taskbar fontcolor is red, startpanel fontcolor, programmlist fontcolour and so on.
But I only want to change the textcolour of opened programms in the taskbar.
Could someone help again??

Then apply that specific color# to your taskbuttons or whatever else.
