romoving the text from desk top icons

Hello all I was hoping to find a way to remove the text from my desktop icons in xp home edition is this possible ?

The only way I know of is to use WindowFX.
This is free to try, 20.00 to buy and is part of the Object Desktop suite.

Or you could name them with the alt+0160 invisible character.

thank you for your response everyone ,i do have window fx I guess I have not found that option i will look again ...I did try the alt+0160 method but for some reson did not work thanks again

Desktop X with IconX maybe an option, if You are an OD subscriber.

Open up WindowFX, at the top left click on "Desktop Icons", click on "Hide Desktop Icon Text", apply.
