How many Icons are enough???

Hello Neighbors 
I decided to try putting together an Icon Package...Whoa!!! What a tedious, time consuming job. They are far from perfect but they do match my skin and I did learn a few things for the next ones;) You can click my user name for a screenshot.
Anyway, how many icons is acceptable for a package? I've done about 40, I think I have about had it
When I started, I just wanted a few for the Start Panel to match my new skin, but...ya know how it goes.

The is no such thing as "enough icons" Your desktop looks great. I will be looking forward to the release of the Windowblinds and the Icons!

I don't think there is a "minimum requirement" but you will probably get some complaints if there isn't something for each of the basic icons. I think it comes out to over 90 icons for a full set. Mormegil includes a lot of extras for various file types, but most sets only have the standards.
But, I would be glad to have whatever you want to release. (I know how tedious it is!!)

Takes too many to make a complete set. That's the main reason I never made another set after the Heavy Equipment suite. Too much work!

If you make all of the defalts, if they are xp only you can cut down a bit. there is about 64 I think, I tend to make about 100 to 150 in a pack. But I am a big fan of over kill. As a role if you can runn it on your own system, and it replaces all the Icons you see, then you are good to go. You can always add more later.

Icons are always a good thing, but start with the basic skin/theme with the OS needed icons and work from there?

The blind and the cursor package are done, just a few more icons...well...a few more than I thought
Forgot to ask something, Are there any copyright infringements if I use...say...the default XP printer icon modify it and put it in front of one of my own folders?
I'm not too great at the illustration stuff;P
