I have a question about the Download Limit.....

This may seem like an odd question coming from me, but its kinda important. I was getting some ObjectBar skins and then I got sent to a place that said I'd hit the d/l limit. It said on that page that I'd hit the 100 mb d/l limit. But when I checked my profile, it said that I had only gotten 53 mb. Either way, I cant get any more stuff off of this site until I purchase something. Or, at least, thats what that page said. I was under the impression that I still had 50 mb to go until I ran into this problem. Can an Admin or someone help me with understanding this?

I think WOM is right...as I remember it was 100 and then it was changed to 50....

This isnt good. I wasnt going to purchase the products until I got a new computer and that isnt going to happen for at least 2 months. Jeez. I dunno what options I have other than just not get anything from winC until then. Oh well. I dont want to have to go that long though! *sigh* I'll figure something out, hopefully soon. Thanks for your help.

Yes, that page should have been updated months ago......... but I have no idea where it is.. 
Why do feel you need to wait for your new computer to purchase OB? It will work on the one you have, and when you get the new one, it will work on that one too.

I'll have to see what I can do. I share the computer AI waork on with the rest of my family. It the family computer and I dont think they would like me changing the bar all the time. But I might get it and see how it goes. If they dont like it, I'll take it off and wait till I get my computer.

Çërêb®OJ : Are You driving XP with different user profiles or is it 'one for all'? If You have different user profiles the others don't necessarily need to load OD stuff on startup.

I believe you can still download up to ~5mb as a visitor to the site (i.e. not logged in) if you really need to download some stuff until then.

c242: I am using ME and the last time I messed around with the users, it nearly crashed the system. I was having registry errors right and left and data got toasted. THe rest of the family was not to happy with me. I'll have to see what I can do though. Thanks for the idea.

for the time being you could just purchase something small like cursorXP or some other little app from stardock. That would eliminate your cap also.

i have noticed lately alot of new threads about the dowlload limit. maybe we should make one of these threads a permanate one so that the newbies don't get confused? just a helpfukl thought.

Koasati: I will as soon as it is feasable! I really want to support WinC and StarDock but its not feasible for the next couple of months. I'll work on getting some stuff as soon as I can.
