Hello,

Need more information.

What do you mean small pictures? In Explorer list view mode those icon is at 16x16 pixel icon. Not just picture. The icons files contain various graphics files size from 16x16 up to 256x256 pixel. You will need Icon maker apps like Icondeveloper to make icons file. Of course, most good Icon maker apps could auto create those icon sizes from a single graphics. But to get the best result, you will need to adjust every single size of that icons. That is why making Icons set is not a very simple things to do.

In below s/shot. Its taken from Windows 7, and applied Treetog's Junior Icon set. As you can see the mp3 files is applied but if I open up list of .flac those icons will show default icon since in that package .flac is not listed. You will need manually add it. Similar issues with video files. There are a lot of video files type that might not be listed. That is why some those audio and video files just get default icons.

Hope that answer your questions.

Thank you,

Last week my hard disk failed and had to replace it with a new one and had a fresh Win 7 ultimate x64 reinstalled just like the old disk. Everything worked fine on that one.

The music an video Icons will not change as I had set them in IP. In list mode all I get is the default win icon.

Please try the purge and reinstall on iconpackager : https://forums.stardock.com/485953/iconpackager-support-faq#reinstalling

Make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall the Iconpackager. Reboot again. Retest and report back here.

Thank you,

You will need to help yourself and try to get involved with it. I can't help you if you just said "Nope". Could you explain more.

Thank you,

Sorry. The only Icon that did not change is the mp3 for music.

What media player you have installed in your system? Specially installed for playing mp3.

And you should also try the following:

-For 7 Users: click Start, in the start search field type 'cmd'. Right-click on the search result and select 'Run as administrator'.

-Type: sfc /scannow

-Wait for the scan to complete (this can take several minutes)

Some help on how this looks should you need it:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929833/use-the-system-file-checker-tool-to-repair-missing-or-corrupted-system

The above command should assist with replacing any damaged or problematic system files. Please note, however, since it may require restoring certain files, this process can take some time and you will need to be patient until it has completed.

Please let me know whether this resolves your problem or if you have any additional questions.
