Brave browser compatibility
Sunday, April 28, 2019 by poilbrun | Discussion: WindowBlinds
Hello,
I'm using the Brave browser and it does not seem to work with WB.
Since it is a chromium based browser, I tried to look for the flag needs to be changed in Chrome, but it's not there...
Anyone knows if it's incompatible or a trick to make it work?
Thanks

I've kinda just gotten used to the buttons not being there. It's only Brave that does that for me so far.

Sorry to bump this topic, but I also have this issue and am looking for a solution. I am using the WinClassic theme, and using a blue Brave theme on current flat aero doesn't quite cut it.

Browsers, and the many variations/versions of, can be problematic to say the least.
If that fails, you may want to consider the newly released 'Curtains' as it deals with skinning in a different way:

Sean, I have asked for help with this particular issue multiple times, emailing you and posting in these forums, as well as the Discord, and other related forums. It is evident to me that Stardock Support go out of their way to be as unhelpful as possible, assuming everyone's problems are the same and can be fixed with a FAQ.
I will not switch to Curtains because it does not do what I am trying to achieve. It would be nice if WindowBlinds were opensource or if the creators were a little more willing to help with this issue. It should theoretically be very easy to apply WindowBlinds to Brave because it is a Chrome fork and the Disable Windows 10 Custom Titlebar flag is functional.
Stardock claims that Curtains is not a replacement for WindowBlinds, but when you refuse to provide customer support for WindowBlinds and recommend everyone who has issues with it switch to Curtains, you ARE replacing WindowBlinds. Maybe update WindowBlinds again once in a while, particularly the Per Application section.
WindowBlinds simply does more and is a better product. There are simple solutions to these issues but Stardock doesn't want to find them or make it opensource, restricting us from finding them ourselves, and it is negligence.

I know how you feel, dealing with the same thing. I've been sitting here messing with the settings and reading different forums for hours, nothing has worked out yet.
