A skin update notification service. As it is, if it's a significant update, it *should* pop back to the top of the WB library and also be noted in the "Updated Skins" list. But sometimes more subtle changes won't warrant that and only occasionally checking the skin and hope the author left comments about an update would give you a clue. There's always emailing the author to see if he/she plans to update, but I know you're really thinking of automatic system for notification.

Sounds like a good additional benefit for subscribers.Reply #7 Wednesday, June 11, 2003 12:24 AM
| Would be neat if there was a way to be notified that a skin you are using has been updated. |
It would. Good idea.

Or, as an alternative, a regular thread and you could put a watch on it. Whenever someone updates their skin or skins, they make a simple post like "Hey, I updated my XYZ skin" or something to that effect.

This should be something that would be extremely to do with the WC browser. It would be harder to code it into the site itself, but this kind of thing should be a subscriber-only benefit which makes it logical to only bother patching it into the WC browser.
