I can't post a reply from Internet Explorer (SOLVED)

Also can't create one.

Sunday, November 4, 2018 by RedneckDude | Discussion: Forum Issues

I can't post a reply from Internet Explorer, yet I can from Chrome and Edge.

Anyone else with this issue?

Anyone have any ideas other than clear the cache, which I have already done?

T-man removed the Forum SPIF (Special Person Improvement Feature).

Procedure (Make RND's IE crash)

If user = RND and browser = IE then

Run Function Crash RND's IE Session (100,0)

End If

Function Crash RND's IE Session (number of sheep, number of cows)

number of sheep / number of cows

Loop until RND opens a different browser

End Function.

Personally I thought that was some great forum coding and the first SPIF we have had around here in too long.

Maybe a SPIF for Micronut itself? That would be interesting.

This issue has re arisen.

I created a thread today that I couldn't do from IE, had to use Chrome.

Ok, so I can reply from IE, but I apparently can't start my own thread from IE.

I even had to use Chrome to edit the title to say (UNSOLVED).  IE would not do it.

I was able to create with IE:

Should be fixed now.  Since it's a Javascript fix and the file may be cached, you may need to perform a hard refresh, CTRL-F5, to update the javascript file.

I'm happy for you. But it doesn't change my issue. Also, it would appear that you posted from Stardock Forums, rather than WC Forums. But maybe that is irrelevant.

I shall do all the refresh, hard refresh, delete cache, etc. and let you know. Thanks!

The time I said it was solved, Al, I could make replies from IE. I still couldn't create one from IE. Gonna try now, since T Man says he fixed it.
