SkinStudio help...

Sunday, June 8, 2003 by lvlunki | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Hi folks,
I've just started out creating themes for windowblinds and I have 2 questions. Firstly, how do I manipulate the taskbar size when creating my own theme. I know that there are options in the wb config dialog box to use large or small taskbars when applying the skin, but I'd like to make my taskbar at a certain height when applied normally without using these wb settings. Are there values in certain sections which I should change? Secondly, How do I go about changing the fonts? I cannot seem to change the font from Arial to another in the Font Preset section under Miscellaneous. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Taskbar ..... try adjusting the content margins, (top & bottom values)... may need to adjust the systray too.

The fonts should be available in the dropdown list....... what happens when you try to change it?

Tagging along Koasati's coattails...

---Also for some WB parts N BITS they require you to code into your preset fonts so if that is the case you can go into the explorer tree in SS and then presets and add some extra colors there that you might want to edit or use for such instances.

I tried changing the values for the top and bottom content margins of the sys tray and the taskbar background, but it didn't work. I also tried what Shmoopy said and accessed the Font presets via the explorer tree, but I could not change the font face from arial to another. In fact when I clicked on font face there was no box in the value field for me to select a different font. Nevertheless, thank you for your help.

Ps. This is the shareware version of skinstudio build 619, if it makes any difference.
