Memory Loss in skinning

Oh dear! 
I am altering some old skins, and at the moment working on the menubar buttons. Eeeer, somehow I was able to set the contentmargins of the text in the menubuttons. Vaguely I remember I couldn't set that with Skinstudio, but changed something in the coding section. Now...If only I can remember how I did that....

I looked for that option and couldn't find it either... But there is an option for menubar textshift...

Yes, that shifts all the text.

Before I give up trying to help I must ask if I'm speaking of the right thing you are...is this what you meant, Jacob?

Then I'd ask...are you trying to move those buttons over more on the actual menu bar? I figure you're wanting to move something over one way or another...
I know what you mean about forgetting stuff...I am honestly going to start forcing myself to make screenshots of certain things so that I have a chart and don't have to try and strain my brain each time I start a new skin.

Yep Angela, that's what I am talking about. I remember having set content margins for these buttons on my tiffany skin. That means the start and ending of the text further away from the left and the right border per button. I forgot how I did that. In skinstudio you have a preview and a code section, and I remember having to set these margins in the coding section for I couldn't find it with clicking on the preview. I did a search for that on tiffany, nothing.. Now I am having hands in my hair 
Now I wonder where and on which part did I change that..Personality section? Maybe there is another setting somewhere that influences more buttons that way...:VERY confused:

I'm stumped too.
I don't see the usual code for the content margins which is usually something like:
ContentLeft=4
ContentRight=20
ContentTop=16
ContentBottom=5
If you add that to your skin you may get errors if that isn't available in SS but you can always search out the image source in the code...and add it beneath and tweak from there and see if it will let you do it.
