In preperation for creating several colour variations of my dinksDX skin, I'd like to get some opinions on the colours some of you would like to see. I'm avoiding a custom colour version, as my attempts at creating one have turned out less than satisfactory. I'm therefore concentrating on creating a handful of fully detailed re-coloured versions.

Red, at least. (Row 2 from top, the far right pic.) Not that many red skins around that I recall. Dunno about the other colors.

They're all very nice, but I perfer ones that are slightly muted and not quite so vibrant. For instance the orignal Dinks color the top left is much nicer than the blue next to it.
The red (all the way to the right) on the 2nd row is nice as well. All three of the greens are very nice, hard to decide which is nicest.
The first two in the bottom row are quit nice too, particularly the grey which offers a nice neutral "work" color

they are all too dark for me but the last one slicely brighter would be perfect

How about changing the grays for a dark red or darker blue and keep the current blue?

I'm feelin all three on the bottom row. The charcoal on the bottom row and the blue to the right of it most definitely.

Some of the choices here really surprise me. When the original dinks came out, I made three versions - red, green and blue. Out of those three, the red was the least downloaded, despite it being my favourite one.
Red is now on the definate list.

Woodbridge is right to some extent BTW. You can make the grey version of the skin yourself by turning on custom colour support in the WindowBlinds configuration, checking the 'force' option, and setting the blending level to 0%. There are a couple of images that don't get recoloured using this approach, but for the non-media designs it works well.
