Task Manager
Friday, October 5, 2018 by dudesicko70 | Discussion: Skinning
Hey.
Task Manager, the top text that is Bolded with the % numbers, i cannot find out where i can change the font color, its just black, and black on dark grey is not great.

As you can see the numbers is all black
I want them to be lighter grey.
And then also the dividers, they are also all shiny, how or where do i change them, would also like them to get a little change ![]()
Hope someone know how, i have tried like 50 skins from the side, and yet i have to find one that had changed those 2 things, so i wonder if it is possible.
Thx ![]()

Try this.
Open SKS. Go to Edit TitleBars and WindowFrames. Click on Edit Per pixel frames. Borders/Caption. Do this also for Maximize Caption. Click on Text on the bottom. You will see "Active. It also has a drop down menu click on arrow and you will see inactive. Right below you will see Text Color" Use drop down menu to change color. Click apply. You can make both colors the same or make the inactive a bit different.

Thx for the reply.
But i think my first post was a bit unclear, reading it again it could be red as the Name of the window, sorry
What i need is the black text, that is above the Bluish text (see image), where you see the % of the CPU, Memory... used.

Hmm, that works under "Details", "Services", but not under the other ones. ![]()
I downloaded some of your skins, but all of the ones i downloaded (also every other skin i ever looked at), got the task manager font color as black.
This is your skin Direction.

As you can see, the last post you made, was to change (the blue bar) you have in the Task Manager, but what i need/want is the black font from image nr 1 (see red circles), to be a color of my pick.
But i'm not sure it is possible, since 0 skin i ever downloaded had a change to this font.

Sorry I keep giving you the wrong information for the exact location you need. I now see the circled location. However I don't use Task Mgr that often and can't find a way to show your circled areas so I can try and fine the color.
There are places we have no control over as windows takes over with their Black. If I can figure out how to see those circled areas here I will check for you.
Note there are certain background areas I don't make Black where I know the text can't be changed. That way the Blacked text can be read with a lighter BG.

Yeah, the only place i found out you can change the font for that location is
Change skin fonts > Modify Windows 7 / 8 part fonts... > Dialog text in some wizards > Then the first one (top most)
But the font name is not the problem, but the color is, and even if i do change the color there, it is not saved.
