What is DMist?

Thursday, June 5, 2003 by he3nry | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Yesterday, I found a folder in my WindowBlinds file called DMist. The contents look like an ordinary WinBlind theme. I did not download it deliberately and it did not appear as a selection in the Desktop Properties/Appearance page. I deleted it. Today, it is back, again without any action from me other than running Stardock Central. Again, it does not appear in my list of installed themes. Can anyone tell me what this DMist is and why I'm getting it without requesting it?

Thanks

I think Dark Mist had a windowblinds skin on wincustomize called DMist, though it no longer appears to be on here anymore

As to how it magically keeps reappearing on your computer, I have no idea

Thank you. That solves another mystery I had because I tried twice to download your skin and couldn't find it. I never made the connection. Let me add that I really like Crest. Nice job!

Thanks again.

It ain't the first time that has happened....the 'folder' name really is supposed to be the same as the uis name...
